Officially unveiled yesterday in Russia, the thinnest Samsung Galaxy phone there is -- the Galaxy Alpha -- is still every bit the news it was 24 hours ago. Of course, our initial impression is that the Alpha triggered mixed feelings among the wider public (us among them), but that hardly equals doing the device justice -- we'll have to review it first to know what exactly we're dealing with.

That's right, the folks behind SamMobile have decompiled test firmware for the Alpha that was sent to them some time ago in order to dig out the colorful walls. You'll be judge, obviously, but we found that we love Samsung's latest work in this regard -- it reminds very much of what it did for the Galaxy S5, and it seems like abstract color-mixers are the way to go for the company as of late.
