Chinese ex-teen idol Jimmy Lin leaks what he claims is the iPhone 5 on Weibo

Jimmy Lin is a singer, actor, and race car driver, being a pretty popular teen idol in his heyday to boot. Now all of a sudden he pops with a number of images on his Weibo account - the Chinese version of Twitter - and claims they are of him holding the new iPhone 5, or whatever it gets named.

He waxes about the purported features, such as a larger 4" screen, aluminum alloy for the back, and a new dock connector, but says the handset is slimmer, yet feels almost the same in the hand, as the current version.

His observation about the material on the rear is that it resembles very much what we have on the iPad, so we are likely to experience a glass/aluminum fusion as a chassis for the next iPhone, if all the leaks and rumors turn out legit.
