BlackBerry Torch 9850 to be priced $200 for Verizon
When the BlackBerry Torch 9850 launches on September 8 for Verizon along with the Motorola Droid Bionic, you can pick up a Torch 9850 for yourself for the price of $200 with a two-year contract.

September 8 is shaping up to be a nice day of releases for current and aspiring Verizon customers. It was just a week ago that signs pointed to this being the day the BlackBerry Torch 9850 launches. It is nice to know that this date is official and it’s even nicer to know the size of the hole this smartphone will burn in your pocket.

The BlackBerry Torch 9850 is a high end device from RIM. It runs on OS 7 and is powered by a single core 1.2GHz processor. Also powering the device from behind the scenes is 768MB of RAM. It features the largest screen ever on a BlackBerry handset, measuring in at 3.7-inches. Around the back of the Torch 9850 is a 5 megapixel camera that can also record video in 720p.

The release of the BlackBerry Torch 9850 for Verizon is only a couple of days away. Anybody going to pick one up at the $200 price point? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
