Best Buy offering 16GB Nexus 7 for $199 with $25 Google Play gift card

Best Buy offering 16GB Nexus 7 for $199 with $25 Google Play gift card
You say you want a 16GB Nexus 7? Well, Best Buy has the Wi-Fi enabled slate in black for just $199 and because you're a nice guy (or gal), the big box retailer will toss in a $25 Google Play gift card. Sound enticing? So that is $30 off the regular price of the stock Android tablet, and another $25 tossed in. We might have run out of fingers and toes, but we can still figure out that this adds up to $55 in savings and extras.

Free shipping is available in the online store, and from what we've heard, Best Buy will honor this deal in its brick and mortar stores. The 16GB variant is not offered with LTE connectivity, and the deal is not offered with the 32GB Wi-Fi or LTE versions of the slate. In addition, we have no idea when Best Buy will say enough is enough. With that in mind, no one would think any less of you if you ran out to Best Buy right away, or immediately ordered the Asus-made tablet online.

Did the Office Depot $179 special before Christmas, and had Best Buy price match to Office Depot, and they were giving the $25 Google Play gift card back then as well. Coupled that with the AMEX Sync $25 off $250 purchase at Best Buy, it ended up costing me $179 - $25 - $25 = $149 net before taxes. I made the $250 minimum for AMEX sync by buying some gift cards :)
