Asus ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra to be released in July
Last month, Asus unveiled three brand new smartphones: ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra. While the company announced their prices, it didn't say when the handsets would be released. However, we now know that all three of them are expected to be launched on July 12 in Taiwan. According to Taiwanese website ePrice, this is an official release date revealed by Asus.

The new ZenFones run Android 6.0 Marshmallow customized with Asus' own ZenUI, and, unlike last year's ZenFone 2 phones, they feature fingerprint scanners, and are powered by Qualcomm processors (instead of Intel-made ones). Also notable is the fact that these are the first ZenFone handsets to be made out of premium materials, including glass and metal on the regular ZenFone 3, and aluminum on the other two models.

Prices for the ZenFone 3 start at $249, while both the ZenFone 3 Ultra and ZenFone 3 Deluxe will be significantly more expensive, starting at $479 and $499, respectively. Since Taiwan is Asus' home country, we assume that the company won't release the ZenFone 3 series anywhere else before launching it there. Right now, we don't know when the new smartphones are expected to arrive in the US, but we guess it'll happen soon. Let us know if you're planning to buy any of them!
