Apple's WWDC app is updated to fix bug that prevented videos from playing
Apple updated its WWDC app on Wednesday, finally exterminating a bug that prevented users from watching video of the June 2013 event. A tweet sent out by a John Vorhees (is this Jason's long lost dad?) mentioned that some developers have had trouble viewing video on the site ever since a security issue temporarily shut down Apple's Developer Center last July.

The WWDC app allows those who were unable to attend the developer's conference to view videos of different sessions. The app has some cool features, such as the ability to start watching a video on one iOS device and finish it on another iOS device. If you ever find yourself at WWDC, the maps of the Moscone Center on the app will help you get to where you want to be.

And of course, the app brings you the latest news and notifications. This year, the WWDC will be held from June 2 to June 6 and tickets for the event cost the usual $1500. If you don't want to spend that kind of cash, well, you can always download the WWDC app and pretend that you're there.
