Ever stumbled upon the ad for the iPhone 5 embedded right above? Go ahead and check it out – it's only 30 seconds-long. Saw it? Good.

It's a bit ironic, isn't it? Specifically because we now have as monstrous an iPhone as the 5.5-inch 6 Plus, and even the smaller, 4.7-inch iPhone 6 is visibly larger than anything else Apple has produced in the past. But, in the end, the company felt it's finally time it addressed what we now know to be great demand for a larger-screened iPhone. In the process, however, folks that adored their iPhone not least because of its compact form factor, were left in the dust.

A new report, however, suggests that this might change sometime in the second half of 2015. Apparently, Apple's supply chain partners are, like always, a bit too talkative, and are now claiming that the giant is thinking of releasing a 4-inch iPhone. We're told that such a device will be aimed at folks who value one-handed operation and female users. If true, that one may easily be what Apple has in mind for the slot currently occupied by the iPhone 5c, which is rumored to be on path to being discontinued, also in 2015.

What do you guys think?
