Apple grants $1 million as disaster relief in fighting the Southern California wildfires

The inferno that is blasting through the "paradise on earth" Southern California shaped to be the fifth largest fire in the state's history, so you can imagine the amount of resources, both human and financial, that are needed to try and tame it down at least a little. Apple has taken notice, and has apparently donated $1 million towards the firefighting effort, just as it did in October when the flames were raging in Northern California, and it matched the employee donations as well.

Apple has been doing these disaster relief donations for a while now, and, since each year there is a number of such dramas, its contributions add up, as it also gave 5 million for hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Above is Apple's "rebuilding and recovery" statement, as the money is obviously not going into water and firehoses.
