Android 4.4.2 update now available to LG G2 users on AT&T
AT&T is pulling all the stops on a Sunday afternoon, also pushing out an update to the LG G2 (model D800). Customers should begin receiving notification to upgrade to Android 4.4.2 KitKat today.  The timing is perfect too.

If you do not get the notification, you can try and pull it by going to settings >> about phone (under general) >> software update >> update now. If you checked within the last 24 hours though, you will have to wait.

The update to Android 4.4.2 provides some restyled status and navigation bars and a new full-screen mode. The LG G2’s already excellent battery performance will be further improved through more efficient playing of media and support for battery saving location mode.

AT&T notes that overall speed should increase up to 17%, similar to what LG noted in a video a little while ago. Printing from the cloud is supported and “Knock On” is improved as well. The responsiveness is going to be better.

Let us know how the update goes for you. Are the improvements noticeable?
