So, the Nokia Lumia 925
just got announced officially – a slimmer, lighter successor to the Lumia 920
relying heavily on its advanced camera features to stand out. Complementing the smartphone's 8.7MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and optical image stabilization is the new Nokia Smart Camera application, which adds awesome features, effects, and shooting modes. These include a Best Shot feature that picks the best of 10 consecutive frames, Action Shot superimposing different frames on top of each other, and Motion
Blur shot to add dynamic look to the picture.
The good news for everyone who currently owns a Lumia is that the Nokia Smart Camera app will not be a Nokia Lumia 925 exclusive. All of the Lumia smartphones running Windows Phone 8 will get the application this summer as part of the so-called Lumia Amber update. The new software will enable the FM radio feature for all these WP8 Lumia handsets.
The Lumia Amber update by Nokia is expected to roll out in July. Details as to what other features the new software will bring are scarce, but it won't be surprising if additional goodies are included in the pack.
