Alleged HTC One X9 shows up again, black and silver variants spotted
Initially believed to be a high-end smartphone, the unannounced HTC One X9 will likely be just a mid-range device, or at least that's what the latest details about it are leading us to believe.

Not long ago, we saw an image allegedly showing a white One X9, and now, thanks to another leaked image, we can take a look at what seem to be the handset's black and silver variants.

When viewed from the front, the X9 resembles one of HTC's older Butterfly smartphones, namely the Butterfly S. The back is a different story, though, having a special area that houses the rear camera (possibly a 13 MP one) and a dual LED flash.

Expected to be released in the first months of 2016, the HTC One X9 should sport a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, while being powered by a MediaTek processor (unknown model). Other rumored features include a 4 MP UltraPixel front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage space, and a 3000 mAh battery. Since the recently released One A9 is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, we assume the One X9 will come with Marshmallow, too.

Might add weight to the first leak as you can see the new leak (the 3 phones) at the bottom right of the first leak.

Looks better than the A9, I'll give them that... I wonder, though, will it have a fingerprint scanner? If so it seems it would be in the power button (although maybe they fit it under the home button...)

I still don't get it why HTC don't want to give us the M9 we were all waiting for, the one that was supposedly leaked prior to the M9 release. Give me that design, with a Sony sensor, and I'll sell my kidney to get it.

We know that wasn't an official design but it was amazing, companies should really work with concept designers

If a mid range A9 costs 450$+ then how much will a high end one be? 800$?

At least it looks like an HTC. Looks like a successor to the Butterfly line.

Did HTC fire all their top designers? Why are they copying Huawei? How the mighty have fallen..

At least to my eyes, this one looks nice, not too much of a copycat. Hoping that htc will put a reasonable price for it. Keep up the good work htc!
