AT&T is readying their employees for a September iPhone 5 launch
Here is yet another rumor regarding the next generation Apple iPhone, this time from a proven source providing all of the details to the guys over at BGR that states AT&T is readying everybody for a mid-September iPhone 5 launch.

There isn’t too much details to go into other than the fact that AT&T has began communicating all iPhone 5 launch preparations internally. It is believed that retail employees and managers have been asked to finish all of their trainings as soon as possible.

Managers are also supposed to finish any employee training in order to ensure they are staffed enough for an influx of traffic expected for the month of September. All of this comes in addition to a report that we ran yesterday that Apple is increasing their retail workforce for the months of August and September.

If mid-September is the time frame that the iPhone 5 will be released, then it is very possible that we could hear it announced as early as the end of August. Either way, we are inching ever so closer to the iPhone rumor insanity coming to a close before it picks up again sometime in 2012. Tell us what you think in the comments below.

Who cares? Why does the iPhone get this much hype? Months and Months of rumors and guessing and its the medias fault. Most companies couldnt advise people to buy an iphone 4 due to the terrible call quality and reception, antenna issue, durability, etc, but PA gives it a 9! For a small almost unworkable screen and missing key points like Flash on the internet. Oh wait, it's apple...Over priced Hype is what they live on. kthxbye

No. It wont. Know why? Because every Samsung phone has a shelf life of like 8 mo. before it randomly starts powering itself off mid-use.

My Atrix got updated to 2.3.4. What I am trying to say id its a monster of a phone. Two dual core monsters used to the fullest. And it is almost next to the gs2. When this phone comes out its going to have a hard time competing with the gs2 and such.

We don't even know the specs on this phone yet, how can you say it's going to have a hard time competing? The iPhone 4, which is over a year old I believe, is still a top selling phone and runs just as smooth as these dual core Android phones. And this is coming from someone who uses both Android and iOS.

Honestly, here's the way I look at it. If the SGS2 comes to the US before the iphone 5 does and it's not that crappy "Galaxy R" then yes I will get the SGS2. HOWEVER, if the iphone 5 is an actual improvement over the iphone 4. I mean 4 inch display, no more attenna issues, dual core processor. I will go back to the dark side and get the iphone 5. It really is SGS2 vs Iphone 5. The Bionic, Sensation, EVO 3D, LG Thrill, etc etc. They are all dual core but yet they don't compare to the SGS2.

I'm an AT&T employee, and believe me, no one's hearing anything about any kind of training for this new iPhone. Phonearena tells me everything related to my company 2 or 3 weeks before my superiors, it's shameful.

the reason the iphone gets so much hype is because it is an iphone. period. end of story. I can guarantee that if i were to give you an iphone for a month and you used it just as you would you normal phone, you would never want your old phone back. I used to have an android phone and i had sprint for 9 years. I recently started working for radioshack and after i did my training on the iphone, i was hooked. i immediately switched over to att and i didnt even care that i had a 2GB cap on my internet, (granted i usually use only 1.2GB a month). Every new smartphone that comes out is always compared to the iphone or everyone is always asking, "do you know if this phone is better than the iphone". Ive heard it for the Evo 4G, the thunderbold LTE, the blackberry torch, the Samsung Epic, the Samsung Vibrant, the Samsung Infuse, the Samsung instinct, the HTC hero, the motorola Droid, the Samsung Captivate, the Palm Pre, the Evo 3D, is anyone else still seeing the pattern that im seeing, lol all in all ive used android phones and other phones and it just isnt the same when you use an iphone for a substanial amount of time and give it your full unbiased opinion after, i guarantee that you will either change your opinion on it, or you will see yourself wanting one. "If you don't have an iphone, well you don't have an iphone" lmao haha thanks apple
