Discovered on AnTuTu's verified Weibo page today is the R6037. That might sound unexciting to you, but suppose we told you that this is the Oppo R9s Plus? The Oppo R9s has already been benchmarked by AnTuTu, revealing the Snapdragon 625 chipset that will be driving the handset. The premium R9s Plus will have a brand new SoC under the hood. The Snapdragon 653 chipset, which was unveiled yesterday by Qualcomm, will have an octa-core CPU and the Adreno 510 GPU. It is said to have a 10% hike in CPU and GPU performance over the Snapdragon 652 SoC, and includes support for dual cameras and carries the X9 LTE modem.

The resolution on the Oppo R9s Plus' 6-inch display is 1080 x 1920. 6GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of flash memory. There will be a 16MP rear-facing camera, and a 16MP front-facing camera to snap selfies and handle video chats. Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed.

Both the Oppo R9s and Oppo R9s Plus are expected to be unveiled on October 19th. That happens to be tomorrow. So make sure that you stop by often to catch the latest on Oppo's two new handsets. Once the new models are introduced, we should have information on the pricing and availability of the pair, not to mention the official specs.
