How Gorilla Glass stands up against a knife
Here is a video courtesy of the guys over at Pocket Now who had an interest in seeing how a Gorilla Glass equipped phone, in this case the Samsung Captivate, could hold up against your everyday kitchen knife.

The Gorilla Glass actually does seem to hold up quite well against scratching, although this video doesn’t seem nearly as violent as it should. No horror movie knife-wielding here, but a good demo nonetheless. Watch the video and tell us what you think in the comments below.

Put it through the same test that those guys did with that Storm1 a couple years ago and you'll have a real test.

I have the Dell venue pro with the Gorilla Glass and I have scratches on the screen from the phone being in my pocket with coins ...guess it should have been in my pocket with a knife.

Could that be a ceramic knife? ceramic knife tends to be less sharper than regular knives
