Users will be able to create VR/AR apps with Apple's upcoming headset

It should be noted that if Apple wants to succeed in its VR/AR endeavor in the long term, it really needs to perfect the software and the ecosystem behind any and all headsets. Given that the Reality Pro will be a rather niche device, because of Apple’s strategy and the $3000+ price tag, it is likely to attract hardcore many VR/AR enthusiasts. This creates the perfect opportunity for such an AR/VR content creation tool to thrive.
Based on what we know so far, Apple’s VR/AR headset will be a rather unique device, injecting some much-needed competition in this novel field of technology. Just this week, we got the most in-depth look of how the headset will function, courtesy of Mark Gurman.
It will be interesting to see how far Apple will go with its Reality Pro. Who knows, maybe one day VR/AR headsets will be a bigger source of revenue for the Cupertino company than the iPhone.
