There are some items worth noting in MapQuest app – like the use of double taps to zoom out and a new energy saving mode that basically dims the display. Even though it may not be as polished or in-depth as its major competitor, MapQuest easily provides a basic free solution to those who see the company as a huge force in its specific division.
