iPad getting naughty with an uncensored Playboy app

The iPad, Apple's “magical andrevolutionary”, just got way more magical for men (and some women) across the globeafter Hugh Hefner announced that a fully uncensored Playboy appis coming to the tablet in March.

Well, you know, it might have takensome Hefner magic, but it seems that things in the App Store have shaken up a bit. The uncensored app will bring girls from the mansion to your iPad. Anddid we say a lot of girls? The iPad version of Playboy will includethe issues starting from the very first one to the latest, as well asthe articles, just in case someone reads them. In comparison, the existing Playboy app for the iPod touch and the iPhone has no explicit content.

How is that not a doublestandard,you may ask. And rightly so - just about any app having the slightestindication of adult content was swiftly taken down from the App Storeand banished to hell. And now you can access not just an app, but amore than 50 years worth of magazines. We can think of a couple ofreasons why Apple changed its mind on this and each one of themstarts with “revenue.”
