Windows Phone 7 ROM pulled from unknown HTC device?
A member of the XDA-Developers forum posted about a Windows Phone 7 ROM that appears to be pulled from a previously unheard of device called the HTC Mondrian. So far, none of the currently available tools can release all of the exciting info that the ROM has stored away-perhaps full specs for the Mondrian, previously unknown news about the WP7, or even the things you need to load Microsoft's finger friendly OS onto your HTC handset. These will remain a secret until someone can open the ROM, spilling out the information we want. At the least, it appears that we have discovered that HTC will be one of the first manufacturers with a Windows Phone 7 device. It probably wont be too long until we learn more about Microsoft's new OS and HTC's new phone. Where Windows Mobile was once the major OS used by HTC (think Touch Pro, Touch Diamond, HD2), the Taiwanese based firm now churns out Android models as fast as it can think of a name. Will the Mondrian be the return of that successful HTC-Microsoft partnership?
