Which new Android 7.1 Nougat feature you appreciate the most? (poll results)

We asked you yesterday which of the major new features that Android 7.1 Nougat brings to the table is your favorite addition, and the votes went overwhelmingly in favor of the new App Shortcuts option that mimics what phones with Force Touch displays are capable of. The new telephony features that offer better voice and phone performance are second in the favorite list - it's a calling device, after all - while the circular icons landed comfortably at third place.

Google recently introduced the Android 7.1 Nougat edition that is now shipping only on its own Pixel smartphones, and just outed that 7.1 developer preview images are available for the Pixel C, Nexus 5X, and Nexus 6P, along with some other gear. The 7.1 update is a pretty big thing, as it brings the most awaited and user-oriented features that Google teased us with during the Nougat announcement back in the spring.

Besides support for circular app icons and app shortcut APIs (icon actions upon long-press), image keyboard support for pasting media directly in chat threads, wallpaper metadata, and improved VR latency, there are some more obscure but important new options, too.
