Videos show off mock up of Samsung Galaxy S6 made with a 3D printer
A mock up of the Samsung Galaxy S6 has been produced by an artist named Jermaine Smit using a 3D printer. This isn't the first time that Smit has developed a Galaxy S6 model. Back in November, we showed you video that displayed his concept models for both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.

Smit based his mock up on rumored specs for the phone. He is still continuing to refine the model as it currently is lacking a home button and a rear camera (although there is a cut out on back for a dual flash). If the measurements are correct, he expects the screen to measure 4.92-inches giving the phone a pixel density of 569ppi. He sees a minimal bezel employed by Samsung. Smit says that the dimensions of the phone make it feel good in the hand based on size only.

A video produced by Smit (one of two you'll find below) shows the 3D model of the Galaxy S6 lined up with the Samsung Galaxy S5. We can see that the new flagship will be a bit taller and thinner than the Galaxy S5.

Samsung will unveil the Samsung Galaxy S6 at MWC on March 1st, and Smit is hoping to have a cleaned up 3D model of the new handset before then. Hopefully, we will get a chance to check it out before the unveiling.

Thanks for the tip!

I'm not excited about samsung least'll be if the S6 looks like the iPhone 6 as it looks. I think no need to copy the iPhone 6 chassis as samsung has the resources to do something new and different

like the iphone 6 chassis?? you mean like how apple copied the htc one chassis... even the antenna bands line up!! as for design of the s6, looks like they borrowed from the note 2. Fell free to look them up.

Sammy hasn't had anything really different from their current crop since the original S2. The skyrocket on has pretty much looked the same.

the leaks wth regard to how the s6 is going to look like is actually good just remove those damn huge bezels (those are really unacceptable) the A series looks astounding actually even though it still follows the common footprint of sammy galaxies.. It wont hurt if it will look like the Note 4 or the Alpha as these are two of the best looking handsets so far. and UI ,, but Im not expecting major overhaul, cant see any leak abt that.

Samsung apologists, have a lttle bit of integrity a spade a spade, and call out samsung for being a thief. The leaks point to another shameless copy of the iphone 6.

i dont know man “It looks like a Samsung phone,” said one of the iPhone users, whose friend quickly agreed with her assessment. “It doesn’t really look like an iPhone anymore.” “It kind of reminds me of the Galaxy,” said another iPhone user during the video. what is that i read? iphone users saying the iphone 6 looks like a samsung? wow its amazing isnt it? and see this: i think iphone 6 copied samsung and does it again with the stylish which they called old century

For me it's about more bang for you $. I don't really care what the device looks, like, tastes are tastes, what does it for me is what lurks behind the screen, the beast of the chip that promises to maul any iphone 6, 7 or any other iPhone apple wants to pump out that even tries to compare the specs 1 on 1 I can predict the review now Galaxy s 6 will destroy every spec comparison down to display, and the iPhone 6 Will get better design which is a matter of opinion in other words doesn't really matter and Maybe coming in a prettier box.. I ask people why they chose an iPhone over any other device and they tell me cause I like the way it looks or they invested so much in apple devices that it would cost them too much to change brands???? I guess cause of iTunes, I finish by saying I have a Galaxy s 5 and is still a beast, if the Galaxy s6 is better than the s5 I'll be a very happy :). Let the pain begin

My comment was clear the chassis of the iPhone 6 and placement of the horn is only what samsung prototypes are presented. I hope and not be so but it is clear that Apple copied to htc blatantly and nobody said anything. I hope samsung bring a different chassis as this an opportunity to show that Apple is who apparently wants to Android starting with q for them the perfect size was 4 "
