Video showing computer designed Apple iPad Pro renders reveals 12.9-inch screen and four speakers
The long rumored Apple iPad Pro might finally see the light of day on September 9th during Apple's new product announcement event. A video that surfaced today shows two different computer created renders of the tablet, one from December 2014 and the other from June of this year. These designs were created with information given to case manufacturers who need to produce accessories that will fit the new tablet from day one.

Based on the features that appear on both renders, we can expect the iPad Pro to be equipped with a 12.9-inch screen, carrying four speakers on the slate. Speculation that the iPad Pro would have a four-speaker system dates back to early this year. Another feature supposedly coming with the iPad Pro is a Force Touch stylus. A rumor that we passed along earlier this week said that the tablet would launch with iOS 9.1 pre-installed. This version of Apple's mobile OS will reportedly be tweaked to give special capabilities to Siri, to take advantage of the larger screen. The tablet is said to be designed with the enterprise and educational markets in mind.

Better head to the pantry and take this story with a grain of salt. Luckily, we don't have long to wait to see if the iPad Pro is unveiled soon since Apple's event will be held this coming Wednesday.

Thanks for the tip!

After all the talks of "if it has a stylus, they blew it", "we won't make a refrigerator toaster", and "our competitors are confused, they're turning tablets into laptops and laptops into tablets", the iRefrigeratorToaster might come out of the closet and expand on Apple's trail of hypocrisy...but who cares, it's gonna sell like hot cakes even if it were just an inferior and overpriced 2015 MacBook with a detachable keyboard.

If it doesn't run OSX than its an oversized, overpriced worthless tablet. Samsung is trying to go 18", if it doesn't run Windows; than its and oversized or priced worthless piece of crap. I have the Note Pro and it too is an overpriced worthless piece of ctap. With size should come a slew of features, in fact should be more pc-like. The Surface at 12" would be aweaome.

I doubt it. They will probably cheap out and only put 1gb of ram in it. Apple always cheaps out on all their hardware.

Why would Apple put 1GB of RAM in the Pro when the Air 2 has 2GB? Your comment makes no sense.

@LittleGaGaKiller, I don't know if you know or not, Samsung already has 12.2" tablet in the market and they are rumored to release 18.4" tablet in the october. So far it seems apple is copying samsung with their giant looking hideous phone and giant tablet.

i know about these 12.2 and 18.4 devices. I said Samsung will make 12.9 one next year because Apple made one. Just Like that galaxy Tab 9.7 which we all know is a direct copy of iPad although they had 10 Inches Tablet

IOS on a larger screen would be pointless, it would not be able to compete with Windows tablets or 2in1s. My Surface Pro 3 i7 blows this iPad "pro" out of the water and relegates the "IPad pro" to the status of a toy.

I think that an iPad Pro would be useless if it runs iOS, but if it runs OS X it might actually be pretty good.

How are you going to navigate OSX with your finger? At best it would have dual boot.

Implementing touch support really shouldn't be too tricky, Microsoft did it and despite windows 8 being too touch focused it worked well for touch people?

The gestures are already there, they are far better gestures than Windows currently has, too. Plus, the launchpad and pretty much everything is already big enough for touch control. The only thing would be the close/minimize/expand functions on the top left need to be bigger

If it came with OS-X, it would also need boot-camp to be useful. Users would need to boot into Windows to run many different programs.

If that's your case, you are better off with a PC than an iPad. Also, screw you cause OS X has just the right apps to make a great ecosystem. Plus, it has League of Legends.

You know what also has "League of Legends"? Windows. Do you know what the majority of programs are written for? Windows.

16. gaming64 unregistered

Sorry I hurt you, fanboy. Also, I don't give a darn about which has more programs. OS X has the right amount of apps for someone to go through if he's willing to.

What does liking something always has to make you a fanboi? Windows is better than OSX. You don't need to be a ganboi to see that. It's better because it versatile, flexible and cheap and yes is the most powerful OS in the world. OSX is the key lyrics OS where typing one command can wipe the whole system while it's running.

I never said OS X was better. For your information, I use Windows and I personally prefer it to other desktop platforms. The only basis you have to consider me a fanboy is your iHate just like almost 85% of the total members here in phoneArena.

Thank you Techie, we may not always agree about everything, but we do agree on this. Perhaps we aren't so different after all.

Apple has been trying lately to bridge the gap between iOS and OSX, so it is possible to see in future iterations something closer to how Microsoft is doing Windows 10 across several platforms. However, there were also talks about Apple releasing a new Macbook that would be like a 2-in-1 where you could take the screen out and use it as a tablet. I am unsure if they are wanting that to be the iPad Pro or not.
