Deal: Save up to 50% on the iPhone X and iPhone 8 at Verizon (with trade in)

Need a new Apple smartphone on Verizon Wireless? If you do, the largest US mobile carrier now allows you to save up to 50% on the latest iPhone models, including the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus. Of course, there are some conditions that need to be met for this.

To qualify for Verizon’s new deal, you have to buy your iPhone with monthly device payments, switch to an Unlimited plan (in case you don’t have one already), and trade in an old handset. Savings will be reflected in reduced monthly payments over 24 months.

To get the maximum out of this offer, you’ll need to trade in a recent flagship phone. For example, to save 50% on the iPhone X and pay $20.83 per month for it (instead of $41.66), you can only trade in one of the following devices: Samsung Galaxy S8+, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or… another iPhone X (that’s weird, we know).

In order to get an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus at half the price, you can trade in many other handsets besides the ones required for the iPhone X, including: iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 6s Plus, Google Pixel (any model), LG V30, LG G6, Mto Z2 Force, Moto Z Force, Samsung Galaxy S8, and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge

Full lists of phones that can be traded in, plus additional details, are available at Verizon - either in stores, or online via the source link below.

The 50% off deal will be available for a limited time, and excludes any BOGO (buy one, get one free) offer that Verizon may be running. But that’s perfectly fine if you need just one new iPhone, and not two of them. Plus, there's no new line requirement, as in the case of most BOGO deals.

iPhone X isn't even 6 months old. Yet now it's going for half off. I know they would have sold a lot more if they would have left the finger print scanner on their as well. But that is Apple showing its true arrogance. We like so you like it too. Now buy it, with mistakes and all.

Lol. The S9 is 100% off with BOGO since they can’t sell any at all and it was just announced. The iPhone X only recently got incentives 4-5 months after release.

Oh, really? Considering the S9 is still on preorder. So where is that sale? I do know they have a trade in offer if the phone is worth something. It still doesn't change the fact that lots of people are not buying the iPhone X. Nor the iPhone 8 with its low resolution display which is overpriced to begin with.

How is BOGO a 100% off? Isn’t it like 50% off? And also those BOGO deals require at least one of the two lines to be new line.

Every single time I see your comments around here its something about how bad Apple and iPhones are. You sound so bitter, what can Apple possibly have done to you... Its a phone, get over it. No-one is forcing you to buy it...

sgodsell...the X is still selling well in comparison to each phone and that includes the S9. You make it sound like the X isn’t selling well due to discount pricing by “carrier choice”. Do you recall when the 7 and 7 Plus launched. I still have one as I traded in a 6 Plus for a $650 promo credit spread over 24 months. Having incentives available to customers means nothing to overall sales. When the financial statements release each quarter Apple still at the top even within the last 6 months of their declines. They create high standards that even Apple can’t achieve year to year. Apple is fine buddy! It’s no Armeggedon on how you post your own comments

"With trade in" is not called SAVE ! because I can sell my phone and get the money to buy it! It's the same thing! Maybe if I sell my phone I will get more money!

Some people just dont have to time to manually try selling the device, and most often end up with the old device sitting in the drawer somewhere. That's the case with me - so a "trade in" is a great no hassle way to save money.. But youre not wrong....

Damn, credits only. My three toddlers wouldn't mind having the x as toy phones.:) They like the toy looking icons.lol
