Deal: Save up to 50% on the iPhone X and iPhone 8 at Verizon (with trade in)

The conditions of the deal/s may have changed since the initial publishing of this post.

Need a new Apple smartphone on Verizon Wireless? If you do, the largest US mobile carrier now allows you to save up to 50% on the latest iPhone models, including the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus. Of course, there are some conditions that need to be met for this.

To qualify for Verizon’s new deal, you have to buy your iPhone with monthly device payments, switch to an Unlimited plan (in case you don’t have one already), and trade in an old handset. Savings will be reflected in reduced monthly payments over 24 months.

To get the maximum out of this offer, you’ll need to trade in a recent flagship phone. For example, to save 50% on the iPhone X and pay $20.83 per month for it (instead of $41.66), you can only trade in one of the following devices: Samsung Galaxy S8+, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or… another iPhone X (that’s weird, we know).

In order to get an iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus at half the price, you can trade in many other handsets besides the ones required for the iPhone X, including: iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 6s Plus, Google Pixel (any model), LG V30, LG G6, Mto Z2 Force, Moto Z Force, Samsung Galaxy S8, and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge.

Full lists of phones that can be traded in, plus additional details, are available at Verizon - either in stores, or online via the source link below.

The 50% off deal will be available for a limited time, and excludes any BOGO (buy one, get one free) offer that Verizon may be running. But that’s perfectly fine if you need just one new iPhone, and not two of them. Plus, there's no new line requirement, as in the case of most BOGO deals.
