Use your iPhone to make payments at Starbucks branches within Target stores
Aside from having to wait the sometimes lengthy lines to wait for your drink to be made at local Starbucks stores, paying for it can now be a bit easier thanks to an app that offers the convenience factor. Initially rolled out to 16 stores nationwide, Starbuck's iPhone app can now be used in the over 1,000 branches located within Target stores. No time will be wasted now as you try to look for spare change that might cause the line to grow even more as the iPhone app displays a QR code that is scanned at the checkout counter – purchases would then be billed to you. It goes to show how our mobile phones are closely being integrated into our everyday lives which offers a sense of ease that makes the process of buying hot coffee even sweeter.

Sweden had a system in place 10 years ago that if you went to a vending machine, you made a selection, were given a short code, you call it and the purchase was billed to you or debited from your account, item pops out the vending machine. We are way behind with this technology.
