Unknown Nokia Champagne appears in "I'm a WP7!" app logs
An unknown Nokia smartphone that goes by the codename Champagne has appeared in the logs of the “I’m a WP7!” app and is possibly going to be a Windows Phone that runs on the Tango version of the operating system.

Windows Phone Tango is believed to be an incremental update that helps to sort of bridge the gap between Mango and the next major release, Apollo. Tango is said to be bringing LTE compatibility to Windows Phones while support for HD displays and dual-core processors will come with Apollo.

There isn’t much yet known about this mystery Nokia device. The version of the OS that the Champagne is running on is 7.10.8711. The folks over at WPCentral pointed out that the Tango builds of the OS are thought to start at 8200, so Tango it is.

Hopefully we learn more about this device in the near future. Nokia gave us a little taste of what they have in store with Windows Phone when they announced the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710. Tell us what you think.
