Samsung's official Galaxy S10 screen replacement and repair prices are live in the US
This ceramic vs glass S10+ drop test of CNET shouldn't comfort you if your ceramic one hits the pavement face-down

When we probed phone makers for the panel replacement costs of their spanking new flagships earlier in the week, Samsung only had numbers for a few foreign countries but now it has gone live with the official repair prices of the Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+

Since in the case of Samsung's AMOLED panels, the company is the monopolistic provider, one would assume lower replacement prices than the OLED iPhones and would be right, as you can see from the comparison table below.

Still, the $269 you'd pay to replace your broken Galaxy S10+ display, and the $249 for the Galaxy S10's screen repair are the highest prices ever for that service, even higher than the $239 charged for the Note 9's panel. It's not just the Infinity-O design weighing here, though, as the S10e screen costs $199 to replace. Granted, the munchkin has a flat FHD+ screen, and yet the in-display fingerprint scanner of its larger brethren is probably adding to the price of their display packages, too.

As for rear panel repairs, the price is rather bearable $99, compared to those unibody glass designs of the high-end iPhones that have to be completely scraped of internals before they can be replaced. Still, we'd put a case on the Galaxy S10e, S10 and S10+, and baby their displays, even though they come with official screen protectors out of the box.
