The next iPhone comes equipped with LED flash?
Probably everyone who holds interest in modern technologies is eager to find out more about the hardware specifications of the next generation iPhone. As we have already told you, the brand new device will feature 5-megapixel camera. AppleInsider now reports that a source close to Apple has revealed the company intends to order millions of LED flash components and Philips Lumileds Lighting emerged as the most probable supplier. Allegedly, due to the sheer size of the order, the parts are intended for the next iteration of the iPhone and supposedly, the iPod touch. Philips Lumileds Lighting is known for its LUXEON branded LED flash chips integrated into devices equipped with cameras featuring 5-megapixel or better sensors. They are highly energy efficient and of really good quality. We wish we knew more about the official release date of the iPhone´s successor, but we guess we will have to wait until WWDC 2010 and the official introduction of the highly anticipated device.
