The BlackBerry 9650 gets delayed again - sporting a name change as well?
Even though there are some minor improvements expected with the upcoming BlackBerry Tour2 9650, there are still rumors swirling around its eventual launch. The latest pieces of information point out that some Verizon stores did manage to get shipments of the BlackBerry Tour's successor, but they had to be sent back for “updates.” Big Red may be keeping the brakes on the BlackBerry 9650 until the official OS 5.0 shows up for the original Tour 9630. Just like them, Sprint will also be graced with the handset,  but it's speculated that their units are having some Wi-Fi problems. Additionally, it looks like the official name for the BlackBerry 9650 may no longer be called the Tour2 – instead, it seems like it'll be changed to the BlackBerry Bold 9650. So far from all the leaked photos regarding the handset, it does look more similar to the BlackBerry Bold 9700 that AT&T and T-Mobile are offering. With still no confirmed time table of when this device is expected to get the green lights, customers eager to snatch up this handset will have to wait a bit longer.
