We have reported that the Touch Pro2 is expected to be launched at Sprint on September 3rd. Now, we have some updated information. A Sprint customer, waiting for the launch of the Touch Pro2 on his carrier, inquired to the pin-dropping network when the device would be available. The answer he received was September 8th. Not a major change, but 5 extra days is hard when you are waiting for something that you really, really want.
Today, the handset is making its U.S.debut on T-Mobile. The Sprint launch is the next known release date for the model as we await launch dates from Verizon and AT&T. Pictures of the Touch Pro2 with carrier branding of the remaining three networks have already been leaked.
