Specs and benchmarks for the octa-core Vivo X3S W outed by AnTuTu
Vivo is set to release the world's first smartphone with a 2K resolution display today, yet it may have to share the spotlights with a newly exposed octa-core Vivo X3S W.

The folks behind AnTuTu have been putting increasingly more effort in heralding upcoming phones, and this latest unmasking makes no exception. The somewhat cryptic Vivo X3S W runs on, you guessed it, MediaTek's new 'true' octa-core MT6592 system-on-chip with a Mali-450 GPU. The screen measures in at 5-inches and offers a pixel resolution of 720x1280, which means a fairly crisp viewing experience. The combination of these internals adds up to a score of just under 28,000 points on AnTuTu's benchmark suite. That's a pretty decent result, and judging by the remaining specs, it's obvious that the Vivo X3S W is on path to enter the upper mid-range. Said specs include 1GB of RAM, along with 16GB of native storage, and 5MP and 8MP front and rear cameras, respectively.

As is to be expected, speculation has been mounting up, and some are making a rather brave guess that the X3S W may see the light of day no later than today. In any case, it won't be long now until we know for sure.
