Sony's Xperia Transfer Mobile app now available in Windows Phone Store
Remember Sony’s Xperia Transfer Mobile app, which was released globally via Google Play at the beginning of the year? Now Sony is offering the app via Windows Phone Store, apparently in order to help Windows Phone owners to switch to an Xperia - not necessarily a brand new one like the Z3 or Z3 Compact. The application provides a simple and safe way to transfer data from a Windows Phone handset to Xperia devices. You can transfer contacts, photos, videos, music, calendar, Office documents, etc.

As you may know, all current Xperia smartphones run Android - despite the fact that the very first two Xperia models, for which the series was initially created (the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 and Sony Ericsson Xperia X2) were Windows Mobile devices. Back in July, we heard that Sony could introduce a Windows Phone 8.1 handset at some point, but the information turned out to be inaccurate.

If you have a Windows Phone handset and you think you need the Xperia Transfer Mobile app, you can get it for free at the source link below.

Well, if the Xperia uses WP, no problem I'd switch from let's say a Samsung WP. But with Android - naaah. I'll stay with WP.

Was going to look into the Verizon Z3v later this month until I found out that it is NOT a varient of the Z3 but actually the Z2. It does NOT have the better screen of the Z3 but has the screen of the Z2. The camera also doe not have the Z3 lenses with the 12800 ISO but has the Z2 lenses with 6400 ISO. Sony and Verizon are trying to pull one over on it's customers. Definitely NOT a good introduction for SONY into the USA market. They start off with scamming and lying to people they are trying to get as customers. Sony Z3v (or Z2b) is now OFF my list.

The only one that is lying is you StanleyG88. The specs on the z2 were awesome, including the display. All anyone has to do is look at the specs an they will see that the specs for the z3 and the z3v same.
