CommunicAsia is the place when each year Sony usually announces new phones and other gadgets, and this year seemingly won't be an exception. The company is inviting us to join it June 20 for an "exclusive media preview of the brand new Xperia smartphones".
Now, given that the Xperia GX and SX are out, plus Xperia tipo/tipodual and the Xperia miro that just got announced, they might all be gathered together by Sony for a media preview, and/or could be joined by new handsets altogether.
Judging from the leaked roadmap of Sony's planned 2012 Android portfolio on the right, the only thing we could be still waiting for in the summer is the one codenamed Lotus, so we'll keep an eye on Sony's event next Wednesday to see what's in store.
If we consider the Lotus' $355 suggested price, though, it should be a mid-ranger, so what we are keeping our hopes high for is the monster flagship called Mint I, slated for a fall anouncement.
