The tip adds that the phone will be priced at $599.99, and that Verizon will have some deals running. For the first week, those with the Sony Xperia Z3v can trade in the older model and receive a $220 haircut taking the price of the Xperia Z4v down to $379.99. Those with the Xperia Z3v who don't want to trade in the older phone, can still get a $70 price break to $529.99.
The Sony Xperia Z4v features a 5.2-inch LCD screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 565ppi. The back of the phone is equipped with a 20.7MP camera, with a 5MP camera adorning the front of the unit. A 3000mAh battery keeps the phone running for as long as two days, and can be charged wirelessly with support for the Qi and Powermat platforms. With an IP68 certification, the phone can be submerged in up to 9.8 feet of water and still live to tell the tale. Android 5.1 is pre-installed.
