Snapshots of the HTC Leo and Megа have appeared
Some time ago we reported that HTC was probably developing a new smartphone called Leo that was initially thought to be a clamshell handset like the HTC Universal. A later rumor had it the HTC Leo and HTC Thoth (the supposed successor to the HTC Advantage X7510) were actually one and the same device. Now, there is a new spin to story. An htcpedia forum member has sent a picture of a device to the forum moderators that he claims to be the HTC Leo. This has led to yet more speculations that the device will actually be a slider phone. Sooner or later, we will find out whether or not this is the case indeed. In addition, a list of specifications has been attached to the picture as well and they seem to be exactly the same as indicated by the initial rumor. The device will supposedly feature 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8250 chipset (Snapdragon), 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen with native resolution of 480x800 pixels, 3G support, 512MB ROM and 320MB RAM memory, 8-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and accelerometer.

The same website also provides a picture of and some sketchy information about the HTC Mega. Initially, the only thing we knew about the device was that it would probably sport a QVGA screen and run Windows Mobile 6.5, but things seem to be a bit clearer now. According to htcpedia, the Mega will feature a 2.8-inch display with resolution of 240x320 pixels, 528MHz Qualcomm 7225 processor, 256MB RAM and 256MB ROM, 3G support, 3-megapixel camera and GPS.

As a whole, both devices look promising and we cannot wait to see them officially announced by the manufacturer and of course, to get our hands on pre-sale units so we may test and review them..
