Samsung's new TouchWiz UI vs HTC Sense 7 UI comparison: vote for the better user interface!

Samsung's new TouchWiz UI vs HTC Sense 7 UI comparison: vote for the better user interface!
Apart from showing us their newest flagship phones, Samsung and HTC also introduced the newest renditions of their user interfaces - respectively, the newest TouchWiz and Sense 7 UI.

They are more polished and streamlined than ever, but which one is superior in terms of looks and on-board features?

It's so hard to give an definite answer to this question - after all, it's a subjective type of preference, so each and every user has to decide themselves. Both Sense UI and TouchWiz have their own strengths and weaknesses - Sense UI is a boasts slightly less features and is a bit lighter, while TouchWiz is still among the most functional and feature-rich once out there.

We decided to devise a brief clash-down between the two interfaces and ask you which one's the better according to you. Scroll down below, gawk at the screenshots collages right below, and vote for the better user interface. The poll will be active until April 10, so expect the results after said date.

Which one is better - Samsung's new TouchWiz UI or HTC's Sense 7 UI?

I like Sense 7. For the Touchwiz though, I prefer the older one like on the Note 4, the new one has ugly app icons.

If PA is asking about user interface then both are just ok. But if PA is asking about additional features apart from stock Android then samsung is the clear winner.

They're clearly asking about user interface...

I like the look and feel of Sense 7 more. I really still think that TouchWiz is clunky and awful stock app icons. However, functionality seems to be a pros for TouchWiz. Also , HTC's keyboard looks so aweful. The multitasking menu looks so uninspiring and camera UI is really cluttered as heck.

The Samsung logo in your avatar is facing sideway downwards, that ain't a good sign to show how you support Samsung. Just saying.

Why can't Samsung, HTC, LG etc just follow material design? There is no Android UI which looks as good as stock Android. I would be so much simpler, phones would be more fluid and everything would be consistent.

You want all interiors to look the same for every car out there?

That is a terrible analogy, these are phones not cars. If companies want to design their own UI then do it themselves and don't ruin Android like Samsung is doing with Tizen. If all interiors look good and are functional why not?

The only redeemable quality of m9 is the Sense 7.

TouchWiz functionality with Sense looks....ahh, I would be so happy...

probably will happen ,themes are coming , it would look very elegant. but I'm really digging LG's icons in the g3 , really simple and modern. maybe they'll have a theme for that as well.

Lockscreen - I'll go for Touchwiz- looks neat; Sense looks more cartoonish Notification - TW after applying theme to remove that blue green shade; Sense looks bloated Dialer, planner, Calculator, Messaging and Clock apps - TW; notification and the software buttons are ruining the UI of the apps in SENSE App drawer - neither? Sense looks so clunky, TW looks so dated Home page - Sense, TW again looks so dated Music - TW, I can also have Play Music app for the Sense's look I really hate those software buttons. They're ruining the UI of the apps

Dear PhoneArena, This is just my personal opinion, but for future comparisons I think it would be a good idea to set up the homescreens with similar widgets and apps in a similar arrangement. It would make it easier to compare. If there are some differences that's okay but an attempt at it would be much appreciated! Just my thoughts.
