Samsung shares the top reasons why people like the Galaxy Note 4's cameras

Samsung recently ran a poll to find out what camera features fans like the most on the Galaxy Note 4, the company's latest flagship handset.

As you can see above, the Smart Optical Image Stabilization feature of the Note 4’s 16 MP rear camera received the highest number of votes (30%). Next, with 22% of votes, we have the camera’s ability of shooting 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) video. The 120-degree wide selfie mode of the 3.7 MP front-facing camera is liked by 13% of the poll’s respondents, while 5% of them are seemingly excited about the easy selfie mode (based on Voice Control, or using the Note 4’s heart rate monitor sensor).

It’s worth mentioning that everyone was able to answer to the poll - both owners of the Note 4, and customers who don’t have the handset, but are looking forward to getting it.

Needless to say, the Galaxy Note 4 does offer great cameras. In fact, the handset recently won our blind camera comparison test against mighty opponents like Apple’s iPhone 6, Sony’s Xperia Z3, LG’s G3, and Samsung’s own Galaxy S5.

Is there something in particular that you like about the new Galaxy Note’s cameras? Let us know in the comments section!

Hey PA, do a camera blind test with front facing cameras. Let's see which phone comes first.

The things I love about the Note 4 camera are: real time HDR, OIS, 16MP resolution and 4K video recording, as no other phone has this excellent combination of features.

The Note 4 with the new Sony sensor offers really good image quality. In many ways, I wish Samsung would make a phone like the Note 4 but without the pen and offer it at a lower price. Also, with such a great camera, a dedicated shutter button (with half-press for focus) would be really useful.

I'm not much of a photo buff but I must say I've been mighty impressed with the optics on my note 4. Always thought the photo quality on the note 3 was great but compared to the note 4, Samsung really nailed it. I certainly use my smart phone camera a lot these days.

The best camera is the one that's with you, and we carry our phones everywhere we go, even more than we carry our point and shoots or DSLRs. It's great that companies are focusing on improving camera tech on our phones.

Yup it can (just like the Note 3 and S5). It can do pseudo 240fps as well by halving the 120fps @ 720p to make it seem like 240fps, although it's not as smooth.

Doesn't matter if it's Sony sensor or not, it takes nice pictures deal with it.

yes out of the android phones yeah, the droid turbo takes great pictures from what I have tested, but even then the lumia 1020 and 1520 are still superior to the note 4 or droid turbo. I have to give credit to nokia/microsoft for the excellent software behind their cameras.

1020 is better than note 4 but not the 1520..

The white balance of the 1020 is way off. You have to adjust it manually. On the Note4 its spot on. I have tested both.

yes it is off I agree to that but detail is much better plus 5 times zoom without losing quality.

I compared it with the Note 4 and yes is give or take but pictures on the 1520 are still better and even more during night time.

And 90% Samsung ISOCELL sensor in Exynos variant, probably the best among the two...
