Samsung now owns the record for the largest game of dodgeball
In the beginning of this month, we reported on how Samsung penned a date and location where they would attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the largest game of dodgeball. Well, it looks like they apparently made good on that promise as they now own the record all to themselves in an event held at the 69th Regiment Armory in New York City. The event was also held to celebrate the launch of the Samsung Reality handset for Verizon Wireless and where it hosted a game with over 712 players and 600 balls to set the record. The contestants were broken up into two teams, blue and yellow, where they pelted one another with balls until the blue team came up on top in the end. In addition, Samsung gave Samsung Reality phones to ten randomly selected players on the winning team as a prize for their hard efforts.
