The company seems to get the message that smart-watches have to be very fashionable to gain the interest of traditional timepiece lovers, and its efforts are paying off in an eye-catching trio of products. Diesel Black Gold's creatives used the curvy Gear S as a canvas to create fashion pieces with a sharp leather and metal attitude, inspired by "highly stylized New Wave rock stars and tough rockabilly heroines".
Samsung Mobile's VP of global marketing, Younghee Lee, said that the company intentds to collaborate with other brands from the fashion circle and introduce more personalized products on the market. In addition, Samsung and Diesel will push a 360-degree video of the latter's Black Gold runway show to the newly launched Samsung Gear VR goggles
