Samsung Galaxy S6 apps and screenshots leak, showing a remarkably cleaned-up TouchWiz
An XDA Developers board forum member leaked four Samsung apps, allegedly from the Samsung Galaxy S6. They show a cleaned-up, simplified TouchWiz with a lot less toggles, options, menus, and submenus one may expect. In addition, Samsung took those Material Design guidelines by heart, adopting the bold colors and abundant whitespaces that defined Android 5.0. This also carries over to the new S Note app's interface, which looks simpler and easier to use than ever.

The apps can be downloaded from the XDA Developers board, although we won't be posting the links, as this is copyrighted material. Enjoy the view, and look forward to learning everything about the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge on the 1st of March.

Jesus christ material design is awful. Have these phones with amazing contrast ratios and colors and have to look at a UI full of white screens.

"Samsung Galaxy S6 apps and screenshots leak, showing a remarkably cleaned-up TouchWiz" No. Screenshots of the apps, not of the TouchWiz. Cleaned-up? What?

just remove those colors and it's starting to look like ios

Why did you have to make such a comparison? You must love iOS so much that you see it even in the TouchWiz.

obviously, you're showing your fanboyism. Look at the leaked image especially no.6(top side) and no.2 (green button switch) you can already see touchwiz transform to be like ios

Those look like they took some more cues from stock lollipop, if at all.

I found it useless to reply again, so just stop it. He'll find something else for sure ... what else do you expect from an Apple fan!

me an apple fan?! hah! you must be new here, just so you know I'm a long time apple hater. I judge based on what I see.

Wow. It's a colour and a text/button layout. Which looks nothing like iOS. This is going completely with Androids new Material colour palette, which is not like iOS 8's colour palette and gaussian-blur-filled theme. Both palettes can be found around the internet for you to go find out yourself. Another point, the text formats are completely different styles and forms. Also, TouchWiz is waaayyyy more colourful than the bland iOS. It must be awesome getting paid by Apple to find things to sue over...

Fyi, TW has always been known for its colorful UI. iOS6 on the other hand, was the 1st version of iOS to implement a colorful UI. So who copied who again?

actually I'm not talking about the colors but the style of the buttons. Especially at no.6 why put that button on the upper left side when the galaxy has back buttons?

that's not my point. why would samsung put a back button on the upper left when it's hard to reach when there is clearly a capacitive back button for that. one step at a time, they're becoming like apple

iOS 7, but point remains. I do think Samsung as a whole is moving more towards an Apple model, and eventually when Tizen gets off the ground, they'll have their own in-house OS to build off of for future flagships, but at this moment, these ques are coming from Lollipop, not iOS.

Quit bickering guys, UI design these days took their inspiration from Windows Phone Metro, hello Flat.

Judging from the above leaks - clean TouchWiz it looks indeed !! Now performance should be at peak, otherwise .. it's not going to give them much advantage !!
