Samsung Fascinate now for sale from Verizon

Yesterday, it was announced that the Samsung Fascinate (Galaxy S series) smartphone would be made available by Verizon Wireless on-line starting on the 8th, and with an in-store sale date of the 9th. Now that the clock has passed Midnight on the East Coast, the Fascinate is now listed on the Verizon web site for $199.99 after a $100 rebate with a 2-year contract. Features of the Android 2.1 device with Touch Wiz UI include a 4" Super AMOLED display at 480x800 resolution, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 2GB internal memory with Flash ROM 512MB / RAM 348MB, pre-installed 16GB microSDHC memory card (32GB supported), virtual on-screen QWERTY keyboard with Swype option, Bluetooth v3.0 profiles, 5MP autofocus camera with 720p video recording and LED flash, DivX playback support, HTML browser, 3G Mobile Hotspot, EVDO Rev A, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and a 3.5mm headset jack.
