Rocket Battery Saver is a simple, lightweight, free, ad-free Android battery caretaker

Developer: NetrokenDownload: Android
Category: Battery appsPrice: Free

Hey Android loyals, want to give another battery app a go? We raise you Rocket Battery Saver by Netroken. It's a no-frills battery caretaker that works in the usual manner of this type of apps - meaning that it automatically restricts unnecessary battery draining activities, and lets you use pre-defined or custom profiles that automatically toggle certain features on and off during specific times of the day. That, or when your battery percentage goes below a certain threshold.

The features you can command include Bluetooth, Data & Wi-Fi connectivity, Brightness level, Screen Timeout, and specific apps. Information about your battery life and energy usage is laid out on a pretty timeline, and below it, you can learn of the max savings you've accomplished.

Putting honest statistics under your fingers aside, RBS lets you quickly switch between your battery saving profiles from the app's permanent notification inside the notification drawer. You can disable the icon on Android 4.1+ devices if you don't fancy it. However, the app doesn't let you toggle mobile data on Android 5.0 Lollipop devices.

RBS is a free Android app that has no ads. Enjoy it as it is!

Found it "Battery calibration - sounds like something, alright! Where was this sacred technology when our walkman batteries kept dying in the middle of the moment? Answer - it never existed in the first place! There are exactly two things each and every of the tens of battery calibration apps on Google Play does. The first is to delete Android's batterystats.bin file as to force the system to regenerate it. The second is to make sure this functionality is sugar-coated in a pretty interface that looks attractive in screenshots. "

That's a different type of app. Battery savers are legit, unlike battery calibrators.

I install this app in every Android device i have because i find it handy to know the current battery drain amount. If there an unexplain huge drain i will use the app to identify the reason. Its high user rating speaks for itself ->
