Results: could the new Galaxy S9 color be the least popular?

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ are almost here and we are already getting juicy leaks on almost a daily basis. Lately, there has been a lot of talk about colors and it seems that the new Sammy flagships will have a new shade to go with some of its more classic finishes.

Midnight Black is back, of course, and it seems it will be quite popular? Then, we have Titanium Grey — a.k.a. Silver — and Coral Blue — which we hope will have gold accents this time around. Then, a Lilac Purple is going to be our new entry, as per leaksters, giving us a more vivid version of last year's subdued Orchid Grey.

We thought we'd ask you — which colors do you think is for you? Seems black still dominates, but it's also noteworthy that the new color gathered the least votes. Do we not like purple?

Which of the rumored Galaxy S9 colors do you think is for you?

Midnight Black

Lilac Purple

I think the obvious conclusion to be drawn here is that there is not a very high percentage of females who frequent Phone Arena.

my thoughts exactly. Men are probably at least 3 to 1 to females on PA.

only the people who liked it voices their opinion, asking it back. Most probably still dont. Samsung probably didnt sell that color very well, thats why they are not bringing it back

Those are just assumptions, not facts. Fact is that Samsung did not produce enough to meet demand and that it was only available in the "edge" variant. Which many did not buy due to it being $100 more than the original s6.

Most phones go in a case that will cover up the entire back. All color variants have a black front, so unless you plan to not have a case or use a clear case, chances are you wont even see the back color.

True, but Spigen tends to make a case for the galaxy series that you can get to match your phone color.

Glass on phones is still to Fragile, and more on Samsung phones,so it really doesn"t matter what colour your phone is,because you buy a tempered glass screen protector in either Black or Gold, and a Sticker on the Back to Prevent Fingerprints showing up,as i have a Black S8 Plus with a Gold tempered Glass on the Front and Gold Sticker on the Back, plus a cover on the back to prevent it from Smashing

I do not like the back of the S9+..looks odd IMO.. Regular S9 is nice though.

the emerald green wasn't available on Verizon and so many customers wanted to order that one when it came out for the s6 edge.

What im seeing is that every single color seems to be popular, as not a single one is under 17%. If anything, it seems like Samsung has chosen a good selection of colors, which people will actually like.

I think girls would love Purple more and since (IMO) majority of geeks are males, then purple would seems like the least option for them in any geek website.

I have the orchid Grey s8, but I wouldn't buy the new color. It looks more pink than purple personally
