Realistic iPhone 8 concept video shows what the phone might look like

If a professional designer studied carefully the industry insiders’ educated guesses about the eagerly anticipated “anniversary iPhone” and then sketched a concept on their basis, the result may look quite like what you're about to see in the video below.

The short clip was made by Ukrainian designer Vladimir Obshansky who anticipates an iPhone 8 with a 5.8-inch "edge-to-edge" OLED display shaped around the trendy 18:9 (2:1) aspect ratio, much like what we already have in the Galaxy S8. We're also shown a virtual Home button and a fingerprint scanner built into the screen.

A look at the back reveals a dual-camera module with a vertical arrangement comprised of a main camera bundled with a 2X zoom telephoto shooter, similar to what we already have in the iPhone 7 Plus. Vladimir Obshansky also expects virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) technologies as well as a wireless charging solution and stereo speakers to be integrated into the iPhone 8. On a related note, AR in iOS 11 was recently demonstrated by Apple at its WWDC conference, while rumors about wireless charging coming to the next iPhone have appeared on multiple occasions.

Apple is expected to announce the next batch of iPhones in September, in time for the launch of the iOS 11 software update. Feel free to tell us if you'd love to see an iPhone 8 looking the way Vladimir drew it.

Those first renders look like a cheap version of the G6.

The bezels are too thick. Bezel-less should be actual bezel-less like the Mix (apart from the bottom) and not thicker bezels up top and down below. (even if they are better than before) I don't know why but I don't mind bezels on something like the One Plus 5, (iPhone 7? LOL) but a half attempt at "bezel-less" just looks ugly to me. Probably need to get used to it.

its not too bad imo. having abit of side bezel can help with holding you phone landscape. the good knews is that its smaller than the huge bezels on the iphone 7 plus. on the other hand i hope the jet black doesnt scratch off easily like on the iphone 7 plus. its a dread after all the paint chipping.

Looks strikingly like the LG G6, which is not a bad looking phone. As these are just renders and still speculative we won't really know till the reveal date. However ,in my opinion, I would say this is very close to what should be expected and I do expect , I maybe wrong, that the FPS will be on the power button or a new button altogether. I only think this because Samsung is supplying the display(and other components) and if it is having trouble getting Amoled or Super Amoled to work with a FPS correctly then its possible that Apple will have to use the power or a new button for the FPS.
