The
iPhone 7 Plus' dual-lens camera sure looks impressive on the outside, but when one digs through the camera features of the phablet, they will find that the telephoto lens isn't really used all that often. To break it down, it's either used when the user activates the new
Portrait mode or when they zoom in to 2x and beyond. But the latter will only activate the telephoto lens if your scene is pretty lit. Any hint of darkness and the iPhone will
choose to use its regular camera.
So, that means it has some limited use. It looks and feels awesome, no doubt about that, but you really have to be a shutterbug to be able to use it to its full potential often. So, is it enough to cause you to upgrade to the iPhone 7 Plus or to pick the Plus over the more compact
