Looking at these freshly unearthed photos of Oppo's N1 rotatable camera-tastic phablet in midnight blue (which Oppo actually calls “midnight black” for some mystical reason), we believe the old question of "What smartphone would Batman use?" has finally gotten a passable answer. Although the darkened version of the N1 is yet to be formally announced by the Chinese manufacturer, and there is no word of its launch date yet, its release shouldn't be very far ahead.

Allegedly, the midnight blue Oppo N1 will feature the same internals as the regular white model - namely, a quad-core Snadpragon 600 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz, paired with an Adreno 320 GPU; 2GB RAM; 1080p display with a pixel density of 377 PPI; rotatable 13MP camera. And a hefty 3610mAh battery to power up all that hardware. Perhaps the midnight blue N1 will also get its own CyanogenMod Edition, too, but this is yet to be confirmed. By the way, if you want to learn more about the Oppo N1 and its curiosities, read PhoneArena's detailed review.

Before the N1 came to be, Oppo launched its former flagship, the Find 5, in midnight blue (or black, as the company insists), too. Its successor, the Oppo Find 7, is expected to arrive later this year, boasting cutting-edge specs, such as a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560) display, Snapdragon 800 or 805 CPU, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera, and a mighty 4000mAh battery.
