Opera Mobile on its way over to Android?
We can surely say that the stock Android web browser is decent, but it may still lag behind some of the market leaders such a Opera Mobile. Windows Mobile and S60 users have been comfortably using the Opera Mobile web browser for some time – giving them an almost desktop like experience on their mobile smartphones. Although Opera Mini is currently available for Android, it still does not offer all the depth and options that its bigger brother has to show off. It was expected that the debut of Opera Mobile for Android was to occur during CTIA, but it was sadly to be found nowhere. Fortunately Opera CEO Jon Von Technetium shed some light about it during an interview with PC Magazine - “Yes, we are working on an Android version”. Now people can be rest assured that the coming of Opera Mobile may be soon on its way.

While I don't quite agree with the comment "the stock Android web browser is decent...", as the browser is fantastic, and just works, I am excited to see Opera Mobile working on an Android version. I'll definitely download it, and use it. Hopefully, it will have pinch to zoom. I love that feature on my Hero.
