OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T get Android 7.1.1 Nougat update with several fixes and improvements
OnePlus has published Android 7.1.1 Nougat updates to the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. Since this is a point release, there aren't any major new features, but a whole lot of improvements have been included to make up for that.

Obviously, there should be a general performance increase after installing the update, given the bugfixes and improved connectivity. So fire away at that update button and get your OnePlus up to speed! Unless it's the OnePlus 2 or OP X. The company isn't saying anything on the matter of upgrading these two to Nougat, and it's kind of making people angry.

Here's the complete changelog, applicable to both the OnePlus 3 and the 3T:

  • Upgraded Android 7.1.1
  • Added expanded screenshots
  • Improved picture taking of moving objects with blur reduction
  • Improved video stability when recording
  • Improved WiFI connectivity
  • Improved bluetooth connectivity
  • Fixed Instagram swiping bug
  • Fixed hardware buttons malfunction bug
  • Increased system stability
  • General bug fixes

Did it just now get it? My Axon 7 has had it for over a month. What happened to OnePlus being quick at updates?

Did you read the title it said 7.1.1, not 7.0. the OnePlus 3 was one of the first non Nexus devices to get 7.0, way before your axon 7

dont assume clown. I dont have an axon. I have the v20 the fact one has nonstop updates means the phone needs fixing. they know this and working overtime to fix the phone. like the screen problem with the op3 and not being able to use more then 4gb and so forth. bottom line shetty phone. theyve been selling that 8 month phone for the same price since released. whod be a moron to buy one...oh wait..

Yea us with the OP3 have also had 7.1.1 for over a month. Except we've had 3 7.1.1 updates while you've had 1. Not to mention we have genius 3rd party devs working together with OnePlus to improve the phone even more. Theres a reason that Axon isn't popular on XDA and isn't popular anywhere else. Theres a reason the OP3 is so popular on XDA... Smart people get the better phone.

Clearly you are far from the brightest person I've ever seen. The software on the Axon 7 is garbage. Everyone knows it, there's a reason no one likes it over at XDA. The OP3T is much faster than the Axon, is more stable, has similar battery life, much better camera because the software is way better, software itself is way more streamlined and polished, bugs are very little. It gets updates all the time because they actually add features and fix bugs. Pixel phones get updated at least every month to fix bugs yet the Pixel phones are known to be the most reliable in terms of software (minus the hardware defective phones). The OnePlus 3 is by far an overall better phone and you can't disagree. ZTE is also known for spying on you sooooo you have that. ZTE is also known for not giving many updates once the phone is dead (OnePlus is the same but they've been maintaining the phone extremely well lately). The RAM issue was not even a bug, they just limited the quantity of apps running in the background. The screen latency issue wasn't even an issue, the only people that can notice it were phone gamers and it was fixed. Axon 7 is an amazing phone plagued by garbage software and you can't deny that.

I cant take you seriously if you cant spread your one sentence into paragraphs and you have no credibility since you said "has similar battery life" of the op3/t- it does not.

Not trolling or anything but wasn't 7.0 release in august or September of 2016?

I live in the US and had to VPN to Canada to get the Update. A big fix, at least for Google Play music users" is that now you are able to skip to any part of the song! It used to just restart the song if you tried moving to a different part of any song.
