Official Coursera app available for Android devices
The online education powerhouseCoursera has published an official Android app. Looking it at, theapp has all it takes to bring the platform's extensive catalog ofuniversity courses in the palm of your hand. It duplicates thefunctionality on the website while streamlining it for betternavigation on your smartphone or tablet. Lectures can be streamed orsaved for offline viewing, while study materials can be downloadedand managed with a built-in download manager.
At this point, Coursera hardly needs anintroduction. We're quite partial to the platform and rather excitedto see it reach a place as populated as the Google Play Store. Infact, this is another important milestone for the Silicon Valleycompany, which recently hired former Yale University PresidentRichard C. Levin as an executive. Levin will help Coursera "buildand deepen university partnerships, develop pedagogy, and rethink howpeople will learn and teach in this new world."
The official Coursera Android app isavailable from the link below. Coursera has an iOS app available inthe App Store as well.
