Nova Launcher Beta gets painted with Lollipop-themed animations and app icons

Nova is arguably the most popular third-party launcher in the Play Store, and for a good reason - it is light, stuffed to the gills with functionality, and always swift with updates and improvements. Add to these timely visual overhauls, as the beta version of Nova Launcher now comes with a bunch of Android 5.0 Lollipop icon and animations lookalikes, just as it did when KitKat was outed.

Thus, if you can't wait until your carrier and phone manufacturer coalesce around the Lollipop update, you can at least get the looks now, if not the full new functionality of Android 5.0. What you will be getting is Lollipop Circle Folder animation, Scroll indicator, and icon themes for the Calculator, Clock, Downloads, Email, Dialer, Settings and SMS. As usual, the goods are still in the Nova Launcher Beta version, which you can download by signing into their G+ community from the source link below.

Nova is good for tablets. If you don't agree, what would make it better in terms of features? There are more personal preferences involved here than actual features.

My Lolipop build had Google Now laucher on it. While I did have it on KitKat (which means it could have just imported it over), I am pretty sure in the setup, not the restore, it asked if I wanted to use it. ps. At first I found Lollipop ugly, but I have gotten used to it and man the functionality is pretty smooth. =)
