Nokia E7 gets its first firmware update
Nokia has updated the firmware of the E7, and it is available now either over-the-air, via Ovi Suite on your computer, or via the Nokia Software Updater app.

This update, PR 1.1 (14.0.002), is a relatively small update at only 907 KB. The update excludes any change-log information, so we doubt there's anything earth-shattering. It probably only contains minor bug fixes, rather than large-scale improvements. But it's not like we were disappointed with the E7 in the first place.

As always, be sure that you're getting your firmware update from the correct region (not necessary OTA), and remember to back up all your content. Like we said, it's a small update, so it should be a painless and brick-free experience. But we all know that Nokia's going through a phase of transition.
