What appears to be an official ROM update for Sprint's Diamond has found its way onto PPCGeeks, and there looks to be a lot of changes afoot. Notable changes include a radio upgrade and the inclusion of Internet Explorer 6, the first time we'd see Microsoft's new browser in an official capacity. Other changes include:

While this comes from Sprint, it does so indirectly and has yet to be announced. As theboot splash screen indicates it is still a "test" so flash withcaution. We've been running this now and have not run into any issues so far. To the average user there will be no noticeable updates with the exception of the new slide to answer/ignore from the Touch HD.
